Learning Tip #6

In this video-blog post I wanted to discuss with you one more studying technique called Elaboration Technique. When you elaborate, you find new layers of meaning in the material you are learning. Here is how this technique works:

Step 1: Make a lot of examples related the material to what you already know, 

Step 2: Explain it to someone else in your own words,

Step 3: Explain how it relates to your life outside of class. 

Step 4: Discover a visual image (find it online or draw it yourself!).
